Christmas Joy

hallalOur annual Christmas Concert was held for the first time at a Trinity school in their magnificent hall. A crowd of over 400 people enjoyed Christmas music from the Adult and Junior choirs and Adult Young People’s bands. The concert featured two young soloists,  Thomas Nielsen playing the cornet solo Hosanna and Fangzhou Xu a student from the Sixth Form at Trinity School presenting the First Movement of Grieg’s Piano Concerto, both soloists were amazing and their performances were warmly received by the audience.

The evening also raised over £1,100 for Off The Record a Croydon based charity that supports young people through tough times.

The evening concluded with all of the Croydon Salvation Army musicians joining together in singing the Hallelujah Chorus.

In all of the excitement of a new venue we forgot to take any photographs from the concert.
